Contributions are welcome from anyone with an interest
sonification resources– not just software developers, but
using sound who could benefit from better tools experimentation tools,
psychoacoustic modellers etc.
Software specific tasks include external library wrapping (using
swig for example), specific module testing and
interface design for undertaking empirical experiments to name but a
few. Perhaps you already have a module which would fit into the
framework. Suggestions are welcome!
If you have a project that requires sonification–from user
to controlled sound environments, to the perceptualisation of large
multivraiate datasets, we may be able to help. We are available for
consultation and training workshops and have a diverse range of skills
and experience ranging from soundscape compositon to user-interface and
empirical experiment design, to Python programming–in Python, of
course, though we also have experience in C, C++, Fortran, APL and
Forth, as well as the main web-development languages. We have extensive
experience in education and training in both the public (university)
and private training arenas.
